It's a sad, bittersweet sendoff for a longtime K-9 at the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office. After 10 years on the force, Candy, an 11-year-old German shepherd, was diagnosed with cancer last week. On Monday morning, her handler, Master Deputy Anthony Natalzia, walked her out of the office one last time.
