Arctic air is expected to spill into the Carolinas this week, setting the stage for possible snow this coming weekend.

We're not completely out of the woods yet, but the odds of a significant snowfall from this weekend's bomb cyclone are much lower than they were a day or two ago.

The snow and ice on the roads haven’t even fully melted yet and we’re already looking at the possibilities of another winter storm next weekend in central North Carolina.
