The trick is they get to 55 and then go on disabilitu and workers comp until the pension kicks in. All planned for years and the shady acts by the wc attorney, doctors and judges are crushing the financial health of the state.

In New York this injury could be subject to the labor law. Construction accidents are worth a lot of compensation for your injuries over and above workers comp. Consult with a workers comp attorney or a PI attorney. Whichever you call first and are comfortable with will probably refer you to a firm they work with.

I wouldn’t recommend you get a lawyer here as it doesn’t seem like anything is getting denied by the carrier. Once an attorney gets involved, everything slows to a grind. Talked to a workers comp lawyer for a little bit and he said I have a case but I don't know if I should cause knowing how this place is, I will most likely lose my job. Lawyer said the case would take about 8 months and they he'd send me to his own doctors to check me out. He told me their firm deals with stuff like this al the same.
