Hi Experts, We are running Java Version 8 update 111 on client computers (running Windows 7 and Windows 10) and we would like to automatically configure one setting in the Advanced tab of the Java control panel (found within the control panel in Windows) for all computers without having to do this manually on each client computer.
My team has upgraded from JDK 8 to JDK 11. Previously we configure web proxy settings in Java Control Panel (javacpl.exe); now we can't find this utility in JDK 11. We don't have jre folder in the JDK 11 folder. Is it still available (maybe with a new name), or is it excluded in OpenJDK?
The control panel applet for Java is missing on my Windows 7 Pro (64-bit). I have Java CPL (control panel item) installed in "Program Files" and "Program-Files" (this second one does not seem to be an actual separate directory however but a link to maybe the first one?) The Java was installed by myself (I am the only user on this computer).
